I am a psychologist at the Stichting 1nP mental health care network. Here, I work together with a team of BIG-registered psychologists and psychiatrists to provide mental health care for adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

My Approach

Integrative Therapy can represent several kinds of integration. 
  • Integrating difficult experiences and parts of the self. 
  • Integrating into the Dutch culture / integrating cultural identities. 
  • Integrating various therapy techniques to best serve your individual needs.
You and I work together to explore and map out what’s going on. We may look for clues in how you grew up, in your daily life actions and interactions, in your present moment experience, in the way you perceive yourself, and so on. I will help you express and make sense of complex and overwhelming thoughts and emotions. My initial stance is generally client-centered and I tend to focus on the present moment and on how your emotions are represented in the body. But my toolbox also includes theories and techniques from psychodynamic therapy,  schema therapy, existential therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

What does treatment cost?

If you have a Dutch health insurance and a referral letter from your GP, your treatment will be fully covered by your insurance. This means that you will only pay your yearly ‘Eigen Risico’ (own risk).
 

Where does treatment take place?

I offer both online and in-person sessions, in Amsterdam and Leiden. You can choose for each session which form of contact you would prefer.
